The Yamaha RUio16-D Dante audio interface is a smart solution for live sound engineers to integrate plug-in processing with their live setup. Use the VST Rack Pro software application (suitable for both Mac and Win) to load your favorite plug-in processors of choice, then use the 16x 16-channel Dante connectivity to interface with your mixing console. As a bonus, the RUio16-D offers a pair of premium mic preamps, both with +48V phantom power and input pad. With all this packed into a compact and rugged enclosure built for "on the road," the Yamaha RUio16-D Dante interface with VST Rack software offers streamlined plug-in processing for live sound applications!
VST Rack Pro software
The Yamaha RUio16-D connects via USB to your Windows or Mac to run the VST Rack Pro software. You can then create your own effect chains with your favorite VST processors. More than 30 popular plug-ins are already included, such as the acclaimed Buss Comp 369 (on the Yamaha RIVAGE PM series), SuperVision for managing loudness, plus REV and RoomWorks reverbs, VCM EQs and compressors, and more. Plus, of course, you can use all the VST and VST3 plugins you already have. And with 16 channels of Dante connectivity available to interface with your console, you have a lot of routing flexibility. One smart feature is the RUio16-D's bypass button - if you happen to have problems with your computer (hosting the VST Rack Pro software), you can immediately bypass the plug-ins to avoid potential interference with your audio. Also, it's a handy switch to compare your original (dry) signal with your processing signal (wet).
