The SS-CDR250N has a host of convenient features. This unit records stereo 16- and 24-bit WAV files up to 96 kHz, MP3 formats up to 48 kHz and CD-DA up to 44.1 kHz. Supported media include SD, SDHC and SDXC cards, USB flash drives and CD-R, CD-R-DA, CD-RW and CD-RW-D via the unit's built-in CD recorder. Connectivity options are equally extensive and include balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA analog I/O, AES/EBU XLR and S/PDIF coaxial digital I/O, and Ethernet for control and file transfer. Expanded features also include two built-in microphone preamps with phantom power, parallel and RS-232C serial operation, flash start, Variable Speed Audition, redundant recording to both SD ports and much more.
