Factory Special Run, limited edition of 1970s Antigua Fender guitars and basses. A unique color combination!
The Classic Vibe Bass VI is a faithful tribute to the original model. Fender produced this unique instrument from 1961 to 1975 and now there is this reissue from Squier! The Bass VI has gained true cult status through bands like The Beatles, The Cure and Cream. But more contemporary bands like Placebo and The Dandy Warhols have also discovered and embraced this unique instrument.
Tuned an octave lower than a guitar and featuring a vintage-style tremolo, the Bass VI is the perfect companion to give any guitar or bass player new inspiration. Think of it somewhat as a cross between a Baritone guitar and a Short Scale bass guitar. Player-friendly features include a slim, comfortable "C"-shaped neck profile with a 9.5"-radius fingerboard and "narrow tall" frets, as well as a floating bridge with barrel saddles for good stability. This throwback Squier model also features retro looks, nickel-plated hardware and a vintage-tint gloss neck finish for that old-school vibe.
