The Korean company Sire has made fame fast and in a short period of time. And not just because Marcus Miller linked himself to the company; Sire nailed it in terms of build and sound quality. At this pricepoint, these basses are truely impressive and just no-brainers! For those who love the traditional J and P sound, Sire will tick your boxes, but at the same time, their active instruments are just as modern as they are versatile. The design choices Sire has made (available colors, headstock shape) are just distinctive enough to be recognizable and the detailing on the instruments perfectly fine,
The P7 is Sire's PJ style bass with active pickups on board. This example has an alder body, maple neck and ebony fingerboard with rolled edges that makes every Sire so incredible comfortable to play with. For the design of the pre amp, Sire specifically teamed up with Marcus Miller.
Another cool feature that you'll find on every Sire is that option to mount the strings either body through or bridge through (or go crazy and mix it up!); just experiment on what this will do for your tone!
The P7 is available with 4 or 5 strings and also with an ash body. In that case, it has a maple fingerboard.
There is no gigbag or case included with this bass!
