The Cordial CIM 1.5 MV is an XLR male to TRS jack adapter cable. This cable is ideal to connect the balanced audio output of your audio-interface or drumcomputer with the XLR input of your studio monitors.

**AWG means American Wire Gauge and is an American standard that specifies the cross section of a round wire by a numerical code. Important to remember is that the size of the wire is measured without insulation. The higher the number, the smaller the diameter and the thinner the wire. Thicker wire carries more current because there is less electrical resistance over a given length. Thicker wire is therefore better for longer distances.
**TRS jack means Tip Ring Sleeve jack. Also sometimes (wrongly) called stereo jack. TRS is a balanced jack.
