The Boss Dual Cube LX Bass is a portable stereo bass guitar amplifier. This amplifier has five preamp types, great sound and quite a few useful features for bass players. This bass guitar amp is so small and compact that you almost forget what power and sound it brings.
The preamp types are Super Flat, Flat, Vintage, Modern and Rock. This allows you to use this combo for uncolored sounds in the studio, solid slapping or to get started with the heavier work. In terms of power, you have 2x5 watts and two five-inch speakers which makes for a great sound!
You can easily shape your sound to your own taste thanks to compression and drive. There are also built-in effects such as wah, chorus and flanger but also delay and reverb you can go ahead. Each amp type has three presets that allow you to save and recall your favorite settings. With the Rhythm Guide you can choose nine rhythm types with three pattern variations each.
The compact size and wide range of sounds makes this an excellent practice amp. Also thanks to the many connection options such as the XLR line output that allows you to connect the amp directly to a PA system for live gigs. Also for recording you are in good hands thanks to the USB or i-CUBE-Link that allows you to connect the amp to your computer or mobile device.
