A midi keyboard or something with internal sounds? Or that one sound from Analog Lab that you would really like to use live. Now it's no longer and / or question, nor is it necessary to go on stage with audio interface and laptop. Arturia's Astrolab is a high-end Performance keyboard that lets you have all of Analog Lab right along with you.
With 10 types of synthesis, 35 engines and more than 1,300 built-in presets, you'll navigate through a vast and varied constellation of sounds, from beautifully intimate keys and timeless analog synths, to elemental acoustic instruments and complex modern sounds - all at the turn of a dial.
+1300 internal sounds
With some`1,300 sounds directly in the Astrolab already, and the ability to modify or add to them, you won`t run out of things to do with this keyboard any time soon. And much more importantly, you`ll always have the right tool under your fingers for every gig. From beautiful pianos - acoustic and electric - to fat synths and grand strings and organs, you name it, it's in there.
Playlists
Possibly one of the Astrolab's most thoughtful features are its playlists. In a live situation it is very important to be able to switch between different sounds as quickly and efficiently as possible. And preferably without really having to think about it. A playlist makes this possible. First you choose the playlist you are going to play. This can be a specific setlist of your band, a completely different playlist because you are in several bands, or a completely new one because it is a one-time gig or a fill-in job.
Within the playlist, there are presets created for each song you will play. And within the preset of the song there are presets of different sounds needed for that song. So you switch seamlessly from intro, to chorus, to chorus and back again, and it is always very easy to find the right sounds for the right song.
Multi-instruments
The best things often happen when we start mixing and matching, and of course this is also possible with the AstroLab by means of the split mode, for example. Play a fat bass with the left hand while laying down a melody with the right. Or let a grand and full string section come over the acoustic piano. The possibilities are endless and completely customizable.Vocoder
Among the inputs is also a mic input to plug directly into an external microphone to use with the Vocoder. Choose one of the vocoder presets or customize these presets to taste.Specifications:
