The Nord Electro 6D-73 from Clavia is a stage keyboard with an emphasis on electro-mechanical keyboard instruments, such as tone wheel organs, vintage electric pianos and acoustic keyboard instruments. This 6D 73 version has 73 semi-weighted keys with rounded waterfall edges (called the "Waterfall keyboard")
The physical drawbars are ideal for creating the typical, dynamic organ sound. The Electro 6D is the successor to the 5D series and has a number of improvements and innovations, such as the new Split and Layer options. You can stack and combine the three sections (piano, organ and sample synth), with 6 Split Points
Thanks to the Split Point Crossfade you have a smooth transition between two split zones. There is also a smooth transition from one sound to another thanks to the new Seamless Transitions feature. The new Organize mode List View has made it easier to customize the Program section to your liking. Furthermore, the piano section has been improved (higher polyphony and filters), the sample section upgraded (more memory and higher polyphony) and the organ section expanded (2 pipe organs and Dual Organ Mode). The main advantage of the Electro 6D is that it is very easy to use. The layout with three sections (piano, organ and synth) allows you to quickly switch between sounds
